This was the best book I've read in a while. The characters and settings were written in a distinct imagination-engaging manner which makes it impossible not to become emotionally attached. The bad guys are horrid, the fantasy is believable; and I could still, 2 weeks and 2 different books later, vividly describe most every situation and setting...I guess that would be more easily described as memorable. It's unique, unpredictable, and effervescent.
