Wings by Aprilynne PikeWhat a beautiful, sweet, light story! Even the scary parts (TROLLS!!) were sweet and innocent. This book makes me feel good. Laurel is the epitome of sweetness, and it was refreshing to find a truly good girl, and her friends, too. Even the "love triangle" was tactfully, tastefully, and realistically written. I love the depth of definition of the Fae, extracting common knowledge from other popular faerie "tales" then branching off to develop a thoroughly unique perspective. Needless to say, I am now in the throngs of a new found faerie obsession, and also bought "Spells", the follow-up, yesterday.
