Meet Me At The Crossroads Day 10 with Shannon Delaney and 13 to Life
From Goodreads:
Something strange is stalking the small town of Junction…
When junior Jess Gillmansen gets called out of class by Guidance, she can only presume it’s for one of two reasons. Either they’ve finally figured out who wrote the scathing anti-jock editorial in the school newspaper or they’re hosting yet another intervention for her about her mom. Although far from expecting it, she’s relieved to discover Guidance just wants her to show a new student around—but he comes with issues of his own including a police escort.
The newest member of Junction High, Pietr Rusakova has secrets to hide--secrets that will bring big trouble to the small town of Junction—secrets including dramatic changes he’s undergoing that will surely end his life early.

Shannon was kind enough to answer a few burning questions...
Book-Savvy: If you could re-write any classical literature and exchange the main characters with yours, which story would you choose?
Shannon Delaney: "Anna Karenina (there are reasons it's referenced in 13 to Life)
Book-Savvy: Describe what your book means to you in 10 words or less.
Shannon Delaney: "Creative expression, catharsis, debut, career, excitement, stress, fun, travel--LOVE."
Book-Savvy: If you were stranded on a desert island which of your characters would you choose to be stuck with?
Shannon Delaney: "Max. Pietr would argue about the best way to construct our shelter (he'd be kicked off Survivor fast!) and although he'd probably be right, do I seriously want that angst on a desert island? But Max- I could convince him to climb trees for coconuts and do grunt work and at the end of the day he'd just be Max, a lovable oaf."

I'll have to go back and see if I can pick up any references to Anna Karenina. It's be hard as I've never read it, but I'll try!

A lot of paranormal books I've been reading recently have been crummy, but this werewolf one sounds yummy!
